I was going to say that the USA has decided to elect a bag of crap to be its President, but then I realized that a bag of crap actually has some worth e.g. can be used as fertilizer.
So now I'm trying to think of something that is completely worthless and also vile.

I say to people that I actually like Trump and I get labeled racist or bigot. World divided, and all people do is contribute to hate and division than actually looking past what they been told by media and try see facts. People act like dramatic idiots and say non-logical comments and insults just to try justify their media manipulation. Trump's message was never about "hating every that is not white". It was actually about unity. Over-comming corruption caused by 30 years of Bill Clinton Inc. and working together to have better country. His Muslim comments made me feel insulted and appalled at first, yes, but I had look past this. Why? Because he said RADICALIZED Islam, not general Islam. He made distinction that people conveniently over-look. Upon realizing this, I began to look back at Trump's comments and realize that he actually said complete opposite of media say he said. He comments toward Mexico and its wall. 3rd-world airports. Most everything he said was misinterpret by media to purposely make him look bad. many of comments here aid what I trying to say. America has no identiy. Nothing to be proud of or for. And we finally have chance to try fix this and get better country with that strong identity and pride and culture like in old times, but all everyone cares about is illegal immigrants and locker-room talk and race and gender, causing segregation. And these people with their liberal mindets that caused this segregation blame it all on Trump and his supporters because the media tells them to. Anyway, sometime for the greater good sacrifices must be made, and I do not mind sacrificing liberal-politics and political-talk-downs of Clinton and Obama for stronger economy and if not that, then at least for the sense of hope that things will improve, and that maybe someday I could finally actually be proud to be American and that my family will grow up with hopeful future. I am not a resident erratic, I am THE resident erratic. ☥

It's a place that people from all over the world want to come to - to escape all the countries that really have nothing to be proud of. It's hilarious to me when Trump and his followers talk about 'crooked Hillary' - this from a man, a supposed billionaire, who has made it a lifelong policy to stiff the workers and contractors and suppliers who have worked on his buildings and businesses. I never understood why Trump supporters think this is okay - how would they feel if after completing a week or a month or a year of work they were told by a man living in a penthouse full of golden crap that he wasn't going to pay them. That is a common tactic of corporate America and DT is very much a part of corporate America. While he's not paying workers, he's also paying no income tax. He has lived for years as a parasite on the US, driving on our roads, enjoying the stability that comes from strong institutions and paying not a penny for it. These things are not free. We are all expected to contribute but he contributes nothing. He gives nothing back; his foundation is a joke. This is the person who's going to make America great again? You've got to be kidding. America is already great. It doesn't need any 'help' from this Putin-loving clown. Being 'great' doesn't mean thinking that you're the 'greatest' and lording it over the rest of the world. His Vice President is a man who would be at home in the Middle Ages. Can't wait to see if he got the same offer that they made to John Kasich - to be the most powerful VP in history, in charge of domestic and foreign policy. So really, the real President. I was not a fan of Hillary Clinton and wanted Bernie Sanders. I gained new respect for her when I saw her standing up to Trump - something his Republican rivals weren't able to do. That's probably what did her in. The patriarchy couldn't stand to see her beating up on poor little Trumpy who never learned how to string two thoughts together. I would say that what is surely going to follow is all on Trump supporters and it's true, but I get the feeling they will love to see the country go down in flames. To punish the libtards and the feminazis and the illegals. I'm not giving up though - I will fight back in any way I can. DT campaigned by playing on the racism and and bigotry and misogyny of his followers. That is despicable. And we do know that he's a misogynist - it's well documented. If you're not part of the elite of one of both parties, you either have to be charismatic (Obama), very rich and/or have a lot of fame outside the politics (both Trump), because it's all personal organization and funding. But you still have to be part of one of both parties, because of the minimal amount of guaranteed (blind) votes and electors.

Al Gore also won the popular vote - the last time it had happened before that, that the popular vote was different from the electoral vote, was in 1888. I think the fact that it's happened twice in the first 16 years of the 21st century is showing that something is different and that the electoral college needs to be abolished.

And that's been further fleshed out in the amendments. Well, actually the rights of women have never been added to the Constitution in an amendment, but we did eventually get the vote. And the Bill of Rights says that you have Freedom of Speech and thus you can offend whoever you want. But that doesn't mean they have to like it. That doesn't mean that someone has to remain silent while someone makes hateful remarks about them or else they're violating the hateful person's right to Freedom of Speech ffs.

As if things aren't bad enough, Paul Ryan is already planning to defund the Affordable Care Act and cut taxes for the wealthy in a budget reconciliation bill the first day of the Trump presidency. They will also be privatizing Social Security and attacking women's reproductive rights. Is Donald Trump going to stop them? Even if he wanted to, he won't be able to.

I'd say "whatevs, not my problem" but I realise that politics is politics, and that we'll all some how be affected no matter where we are.

Btw, with 100% coverage for the US elections in all Dutch news/talk shows (and a bit weather forecast), you would say the sports news is one program without US election news, because it's subjects are unrelated towards political elections other than of sports federations. But it wasn't. They made a link with a sports match for the battle between both and showed a tweet about the US elections after the results came in. Of a Belgian footballer, playing and living in the UK. Serious, why? He can't vote as in Belgium born dude without American parents/citizenship and he is a pro athlete. That's no job whose political analyses are even maybe interesting and relevant and with the intellect of an average football player, it's likely he doesn't know more about/is more interested in politics than Average Joe. Is it just because he's a famous athlete? Than at least show a tweet of an US American athlete, as they were at least eligible of registering themselves as a voter.

With elections, like early next year, most debates and news shows never or hardly cover/invite <3 seats in the Tweede Kamer or (new) parties without any seats at all and no chance on a seat based on the polls. Btw and luckily, our extremist candidate gets less votes and seats than based on the polls, unlike most countries where such parties and candidates gain more (hidden) votes. Simply, because either his supporters are either just protest votes, voting for another more normal party or because they're simply lazy jobless people (they took our jobs rednecks, like in South Park) and have no confidence in ''the system''.
